Others see it, too

Thank you Molly Ivins for calling a spade a spade. Everyone in the media seems to be unable to actually use the word "lie" related to Bush's discourse except a few intrepid souls--Ivins being one. Thank you, Molly for the support. The fact is the guy is a compulsive liar.

Here's Ivins analysis of Bush's "misrepresentations" regarding social security (read "lies" and "not a crisis" respectively! http://www.noircity.com/

Everything is a "Crisis"

W's ways are typically simple--a simple man needs simple ways. What's maddening is that a sufficient number of voters apparently buy into W's oversimplifications that they voted him back in office. No matter the incompetence of his regime in every area from monetary policy, to the environment, to planning a war ... but that's a whole other discussion.

What is crystal clear is the W hopes to carry the debate on social security, health care, tort law, and tax law revision by labeling each and every one of these "crises."

They are not. The only crisis that I see is the lack of morality in the Bush administration. What is more maddening than the lies told is the newspeak used by Bush and his minions. I have been complaining about this singular problem since I started this blog--for W, death is life; domination is freedcom; indifference is care; thoughtlessness is insight; evil actions are the will of God; destruction is a new beginning.

Listen for the newspeak and think about what is masked by his language. Now, that's a crisis.
