I regularly complain about how the Bush administration sucks in information, but rarely gives it out. Maybe I should keep my mouth shut. The Washington Post reported on Sunday that the Bushies are under investigation for letting slip the identity of a CIA operative. Interestingly, it appears this spook happens to be the wife of U.S. ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV, the gentleman who investigated and definitively reported that Saadam never tried to buy "yellow cake" uranium from Niger, although W and company insisted that was the case.

When you cross these guys, look out. Apparently they are willing to risk the life of one of our own in order to send a message that you "don't mess with Texas."

Perhaps the White House should create a DO NOT OUT LIST that people in the government can sign up for to prevent this sort of thing.
