Mark Fiore's brilliant animated cartoon speaks volumes about the way language is being abused by the present administration. Granted, "newspeak" is at least as old as Leif Erikson naming an icy island, "Greenland" in order to encourage more settlers. But the present use and efffects of Bushian newspeak are so constant and ubiquitous that I'm not sure those of us who are looking for it can even see all of it. Anyway, take a look at Fiore's cartoon and laugh so you don't cry.
